in last few years. Here are some of the most popular boys from the epic genre currently.

RICHARD MADDEN

You already know that HOLLYWOOD SPY loves this guy a lot. Ultra talented and deeply charismatic Scot plays the brave and magnificent Robb Stark who leads the army to free his sisters in the second season as the new king of the North in GAME OF THRONES. Earlier this year he had a brilliant and deeply moving role of a gay WW1 soldier in BBC's equally brilliant project BIRDSONG in which always flawless Eddie Redmayne played an English officer who fights in the horrific trenches of northern France haunted by the memories of his forbidden love affair with a French. Richard will also star in LONG NIGHTS SHORT MORNINGS, as a 23-year-old who

is addicted to love. His erotic odyssey through the streets of New York City finds him bedding seven women in seven nights, while trying to maintain intimacy and honesty with all of them! Privately, Madden is in a relationship with DR. WHO, CAPTAIN AMERICA and TITANIC actress Jenna Louise Coleman.

KIT HARRINGTON

One of the most popular members of the cast, Kit Harrington has really earned a lot playing John Snow who had  to face strange forces up in

 the frozen North in the 2nd season of GAME OF THRONES. As you know he got the royal role in ARTHUR AND LANCELOT epic which then got cancelled, but we shall still watch him in another fantasy epic THE SEVENTH SON next to Julianne Moore, Ben Barnes and Jeff Bridges as the seventh son of a seventh son who learns how to exorcise ghosts, contain witches, and bind boggarts in the 1700s. He will also star this year in SILENT HILL: REVELATION the story of a girl who has to run from strange demonic forces. The cast includes Sean Bean, Carrie Anne Moss, Malcolm McDowell...

DANIEL FEUERRIEGEL

Well, if you love watching Starz' epic saga SPARTACUS I bet you love Daniel as much as we

do. He got much more space and time on screen in the second season SPARTACUS VENGEANCE in which his character, the brave gladiator Agron, has become Spartacus' man of trust and his right hand in the slave rebellion. He also won the love of the crowd and the fans with his tender and sweet love with another slave Nasir and they make the first, or at least the sweetest, gay couple among the gladiators to appear in an epic TV show. Daniel is from Down Under and he starred in famous Australian shows HOME AND AWAY and MCLEOD'S DAUGHTERS before the SPARTACUS gig.

ALFIE ALLEN

Another boy from HBO's epic show GAME OF THRONES, Alfie Allen, plays Theon Greyjoy who has the impossible choice of being

faithful either to the Starks, who raised him, or to the Greyjoys, who are his birth family. Although young, Alfie has played in a huge number of historical projects before this show: we've seen him in ELIZABETH next to Cate Blanchett, in THE OTHER BOLEYN DAUGHTER, in ATONEMENT ... He was the first actor in GAME OF THRONES to show his willy openly :) His father, Keith Allen is also a famous British actor and his sister Lily Allen is a popular British singer who even dedicated a song to him on her debut album.

GETHIN ANTHONY

Yet, another talented and deeply charismatic boy from GAME OF THRONES. He was quite in the spotlight in the second season

  of the famous epic show since his character Renly Baratheon has a claim on the Iron Throne and is leading his army towards the King's Landing. Renly was also famous for his passionate gay relationship with the brother of his wife. He is one of the more educated of the British actors since he studied English language and literature at Oxford and then studied at London Academy of Music and Dramatic art. He has a tenor singing voice.

COLIN MORGAN

Probably the nicest face to appear on British television in recent years, adorable Colin Morgan has won worldwide fame starring as the legendary wizard MERLIN in BBC's megapopular show. Colin plays the role with such natural ease and warm charm that many believe that the show's success is mostly due to his own talent and appearance. This amazing chap is a vegetarian in his private life, he graduated at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, he was born in Northern Ireland, and, similarly to Kit Harrington and Gethin Anthony, there are rumours that he is gay in his private life.

CRAIG PARKER

 Kiwi star Craig Parker is interesting because it seems he's always getting royal or godly roles, constantly portraying charismatic and authoritative characters. After playing demi-gods in XENA and "Young Hercules"

he kept on playing immortal or magical figures. Peter Jackson has given him the role of the brave elven army leader Haldir from Galadriel's kingdom of LotLorien who dies in the arms of Aragorn in the battle against Uruk-hais in LORD OF THE RINGS saga. But after playing the good guy with a blond wig, he decided to become naughty and dark-haired, so he played Darken Rahl, the main villain in LEGEND OF THE SEEKER. Later on he became popular playing charming and strict Roman general Glaber in epic show SPARTACUS. You've also seen him in "Underworld" as Sabas.
